30xx Series Founders Edition

So how does the FE stack up against the AIB cards? It certainly, in my opinion, is the nicest looking card but how is it for performance? I am not an avid overclocker so I am not concerned about scores in Port Royal etc but I just wondered how much of a difference in real world terms is there between the FE and say the OC ver of the Asus ROG 3090?
Very little difference negligible really..yet some of these AIBs cost £200 more :p and some people prefer them.I don’t see any logic in that.

specially for cheaper 3070 where you can basically buy 3080 with the money some AIB s charge for some negligible over clock and tacky RGB logos.

Nvidia website changed from "OUT OF STOCK" to "COMING SOON" for both 3080 and 3090 FE a while ago today, don't know if that's significant or not (could be bad news).

Personally I am feeling really good about my FE!
It runs cool and overclocked extremely well even on air with the standard bios... plus I think the waterblock from EK will be really cool due to the shorter PCB and generally it just feels a bit special to me for some reason.

Well it certainly feels like a quality product - no doubt. The build quality is really high and it made my Asus Rix 2080Ti it was replacing look like a kids toy.

Yeah I'm impressed! 100% usage in octane render and didn't go past 65d.

Even played a game of overwatch while rendering and no frames dropped and temp stayed the same.

Also it's quite...

I hate to say it, but I think actually we wont see FE cards for sale for some time now... earlier they removed the "Out of stock" label, and put "coming soon" back like it was before they started selling em

That is also a possibility, sadly.
It would be such a dumb move on Nvidia's part if that was the case just as Big Navi launches. It would make more sense for them to release plenty of stock just before the launch of BN. Mind you they have made such a pig ears of the launch of these cards I sadly think it may they simply don't have many...

Yeah but if they dont have enough GPU's to hand out to board partners (which we know to be true), it is what it is.
