30xx Series Founders Edition

Yes he's something else...He will soon call me a serial miner even though I have never mined. He still doesn't understand gamers that mine on their systems are not the problem but the large scale mining firms are and he should be happy for gamers to make back some of their money on these silly priced cards this gen and last gen....Salty is right mate, best to just ignore him.

Good shout. Thing is, he ponced onto the Cryptocurrency forum to pretend to ask a sensible question but ended up having a dig that all mining will end once ETH merge comes.

Back OT.

Did more flavours drop today or was it just the 3060Ti And 3080?

Just the 3080 and 3060ti today for the fe models dropped.

I think in terms of profit per transaction you couldn't argue with that, but in terms of brand strengthening and advertising you couldn't have bought this level of exposure.
Yes but it drives people to the website - they try to buy say a 3070, order doesnt go through so in their disappointment they might end up buying one of the expensive AIB cards

True, I think they just dont have the resources for that demand.

You mean OcUK couldn't put a little bit of their tax on the cards?
;)

FE cards seem to be rolling in all the time now. Saw the 3070 drop yesterday and the 3060ti/3080 drop today, couldn't get either because of the 1 per customer limit (wanted to bag one for my brother) but I sent him the link and he still got a 3080 well after the drop was listed.

A message to some of you guys on here in perticular :

Looks like some on here managed to get an FE card!

I'm still waiting in hope that my 3080 order gets picked. It will replace my 3060 Ti which I will be selling......

to family at a discounted price :p.

Good too see nvidia getting cards in to the hands of gamers at msrp, shame AMD couldn't care less.

This to be honest.

Its at least fairly honourable of Nvidia to make sure there are RRP cards available during this rather mental situation.

They could well have just joined the bandwagon and made loads more profit off it. Fortunately, i think their management has realised that this situation is perhaps unique and shortlived (in the grand scheme of things), so building a happier customer base is more important (and more profitable) long term.

Hey, can someone link me the telegram. I can’t seem to find it

Install telegram app, its avaliable for windows/Andriod / IOS

Google search FE part alert Telegram will be the first one and join the group

recommend you set all on mobile unless you are on the computer all day, set unique ringtone for that alert so you know its that and pre log in to the retailers site around 9am so you are ready to go

They don't even sell their own products direct to the UK anymore from their website. They could use a UK retailer like Nvidia but nope.

Utter ******* stupidity on amd's part, not had any for sale direct since December. Yet they sell quantities of the MBA card to stores for system builds so they're obviously capable of making a deal with stores to sell them direct.

AMD not giving a care about their customer but for some special reason people keep putting them on a pedestal and thinking they are above capitalism.
Nvidia done plenty of things wrong but at least everyone gets a chance to get alerts on their phone and get a GPU for a reasonable price.

Might be true for normal times, but I think on the current market the exposure is worth a lot, I have never seen this level of popularity for FE before.
I'd agree and everyone who makes an account to purchase one is potentially a repeat customer that will then go on to buy other hardware or the rest of the system to go with a card.
