I haven't undervolted yet, what tool is needed for that? I haven't actually installed anything other than GeForce Experience which I use a lot and the drivers![]()
I guess ultimately we are the winners here? It took all this effort, but we now have cards in our systems that are considerably faster than what we had before, and we've sold our old cards for pretty much what we paid for them a year+ ago, or made a nice profit lol. For less than £50 more than what I bought the 2070 Super Gaming OC, I've gained 70fps in Horizon and can now play CP2077 in native res with Psycho RTX and Ultra settings at 60+ fps. That's pretty crazy even if the card kicks out more heat and keeps me warm during the cold season (the cooler on this FE is more efficient than the one on the Gigabyte at exhausting heat through the back)
I even installed Metro Enhanced edition last night and that ran 80+ fps where the 2070 Super could be around 40fps lol with the same settings.
I have, a few fps difference in Horizon and CP2077, nothing major really and tallies up with nVidia's own slides that it's some 5% faster.
Just the latest version of MSI Afterburner.
I left the youtube link on how to do it (really easy) in my post #11587 above.
A win-win
I've followed the video, simple enough! Does MSI Afterburner need to be running at startup for the changes to take effect after a reboot?
Here's how mine looks so hopefully all is good, gonna game now to test.

Edit***
Seems this does not work for me in Cyberpunk. The game loads into the world but then within a moment just crashes with a game error message saying it flatlined (the usual CTD error) using the exact undervolt settings shown in the video. I noticed that GFE was reporting 245watts usage at the time for the brief moment was in the game though so the UV did apply.
I've reverted back to stock for now and all is well again.

THink this thread is the one to post in, my 80 Ti arrived today and oh man is it a thing of HEFT and beauty.
We found if you use RT in games it asks of an extra % from the cores so you need to up the regular volts a smidge to stop the crashing!
That's the best looking PC I've seen in a long time. No RGB. Everything matches in black/grey without it looking that you might have specifically gone out of your way to achieve it (even if you might have). Deliberately non matching mobo 3v/5v cable in red is perfect. Decent number of fans - ie not 10+. If its in a case without a window, then that's probably my perfect PC.
Is yours a 3080 Ti too? Is that peak at 1850MHz where the 825mV tails?

Nah I got a 3080 but I think they're all much the same when it comes to UV.
Ah fair enough, I guess the same values should work for me too.
I've also noticed that Phanteks will send you a 12 pin FE connector that goes straight into the PSU if you provide proof of purchase of both PSU and FE. So I've emailed them and see what they say![]()
You say pro photo but I just used my phone for the latest pics![]()
My card is out for delivery!
