Mate. I have purchased online from said store and you have 14 days to return it. I have and received a full refund. It’s up to you. Personally I’d get the 3080 FE.
Sure is. I bought RTX 3070 in August and it still bounced me. Hopefully they'll at least reset it for 4000-series.

"20.1.3 Unwanted Products: As per the distance selling regulations you have until 14 days to return the Product as unwanted. Outside the 14 day period, CeX reserves the right to refuse any refund or exchange for the Products which are not faulty."

Option two, don't do it! You will regret it later this year when the same money could have got you a lot more performance. Not to mention something new and shiny.

You seriously believe 4080 is going to retail for less than £999, never mind £649? I'd be delighted to be proven wrong, mind you.

Unfortunately AMD doesn't do the MRSP lottery in Blighty or at least I'm not aware of such.

I’m sorely tempted to upgrade my 60ti FE to 3080 FE but it fully services my needs at 1440p. Hard to justify another £300 spend.

Nope, that is not what I meant. As an example I am sure a 4070 will have more performance and be same price or less and likely have more vram too (which I hear is very important
).

Guys, gals, don't buy the 3080FE, doncha know by now that 10GB isn't enough!!
Do what I did, buy the 3080Ti for a pittance more, with its magnificent 12GB of VRam which will last forever!!!

tried to get a 3060ti for my sons new build but having previously bought a 3080ti about 6 months ago it wouldnt let me, phoned a mate and problem solved, i thought it might have been a limit per type of card not in total but hey ho
So, I tried to get a RTX 3080 FE and got this message "Declined Order - We could not accept your order at this time due to a problem with your payment method not matching your billing address".
I had just changed the billing address to match the address where it as being shipped too, so not sure what happened there.
