30xx Series Founders Edition

Just picked up a 3090 FE - almost seems like a bit of a bargain at 1399 compared to the currently available AIB stock. Just need a waterblock now.

I guess its all relative but 1399 is around 20% cheaper than some AIBs currently available. So I guess this is equivalent to paying near 600 for the 3070.

Not saying 3090 is value for money or anything daft like that.
 
FML accidently went through entire thing with 3070 thinking it was 3080 to go into other halfs rig after I got my 3090 and she wanted upgrade. Now spent an hour cancelling before they send it. Wonder if they will put the lone 3070 back up for sale again :p
 
Absolutely delighted to have caught the 3080 sale today.

Time to get my trusty 2080Ti on eBay. What's a fair price to ask for one now? (Asus ROG Strix)
 
Snagged a FE 3070 for my son for Xmas! Now to return the 5700xt Nitro I had originally bought (still in 14 day window). Had to laugh though, as he said it was his dream card, even though he plays at 1080p on a 75 hz monitor. Overkill much?

I alway use PP if available the bank always seems to decline/flag up security on medium to large card payments its a damn nuisance. OTP code.. check. Automated phone call from "was this payment authorised..." yes. Still %&#!ing declined! Bah.

Same here. I checked my email again from Paypal and logged into my account to check there was nothing to do to authorise it.
I didn't pay for Sat delivery (too tight) so not bothered if it comes Mond or Tues. Half expecting an email to say they were out of stock :D

No, it’s the max I’d recommend even if you had 3080 money and it will last many years. IMO of course.

Much better value than a 5700, there still going for near £400 right?

Good to hear - the lad has a better gaming rig than me right now - as I'm still on my gtx1080 - lol. Yeah the 5700xt Nitro was bang on £400 - it was a no brainer. I hated not being able to get what he wanted, so I'm stoked now waiting to see his face on Xmas morning.
