highly doubt they will switch to Unreal as they have their own engine, suspect it's a rework of the engine for next gen and released as a standalone expansion to the game but we'll know more come January I guess.

CP2077 will stay on current engine I am sure. What will get built on unreal engine 5 will be the sequel, and boy will it shine on that engine if done right.

To save time on making the sequel they should just use the same city, just add stuff to it and make it so there are more builds you can enter and make the city more alive.

I am hoping we finally get a Superman game now that we have Unreal Engine 5. That would be fun as hell if done right.

Tried out the above, in the "Epic" preset with DLSS set to Quality it's nigh on 60-65fps, in Ultra it's 45fps - Both at 3440x1440. Obviously a finished game using it and optimised should be much better still. I like it.

Can't spot much difference between Ultra and Epic other than a 10-15fps hit, CPU use remains similar, between High, Epic and Ultra the differences appear to be marginal but big change in framerate. Going by this demo, High or Epic with DLSS Quality would give a 60-75fps range.

CPU usage was 40%, GPU at 98%

Something to look forward to with upcoming titles I guess.

Do you have a link? I've been waiting years to play it, but have decided to wait until it's been patched for the last time before doing so. I'm excited that even more work is now being done and hopefully the DLC we add into the current map. SO yeah would like to read about it.

Only drabs of detail that has been seen from various industry interviews and articles, Cyberpunk is getting a sequel though too but Phantom Liberty will be the only actual expansion to the first game: https://www.gamesradar.com/cyberpunk-2077-phantom-liberty-will-be-a-paid-expansion/

I can't see 2077 getting any major patch updates now other than the RT Overdrive feature which is squarely aimed at the 40 series cards really.

Yeah. They should just move on after that expansion and work on a sequel. I mean it has taken them like 2 years and still they could not squash all the bugs it seems so might as well start fresh on a proper engine.

Bit of a necro but I've been playing around with undervolting my 3080. And it's now doing 2055 (curve set to 2070 in afterburner) on 1v. Pretty happy with that. I'm going to try to lower the volts further but can't quite believe it's doing so well on the stock cooler.

I'm running a pretty basic curve on mine that I copied from some thread on reddit, I could get more out of it but for me its faster than it was on lower voltage, if you have the time to really tweak it I suspect there's a lot of headroom on most 3080's.

looking at my screens resolution and the VERY impressive performance I am already seeing on my 3060ti, i think that my only upgrade path is going to stick on the 3xxx series tbh. Would love to look into a 3080 FE later in the year once family holiday's are all paid for.

Seems like it would be a worthwhile jump at the higher resolution when the 60 starts to run a little bit out of puff and VRAM in a few cases. not sure how much the old girl will be worth by then to put towards a 3080 :(

Still using 1800 @ 0.825 here. Did have it at 1975 @ 0.875 but the extra heat and fan noise wasn't worthwhile for the very small performance uplift.

Has anyone revisited rebar recently? Am wondering whether it’s worth flashing the bios on my 3080FE to enable it.
Bit of a mixed bag. I found it can help in some things like modern warfare 2/Warzone 2, but do nothing in a lot of titles or even cause a small performance regression. I also found it could sometimes cause certain games to crash. If you use Nvidia inspector you can just enable it for certain titles which seems the best approach.

Thanks. All the YouTube videos I can find are pretty old, so I was unsure if it had improved or not - likely not as nVidia don’t seem bothered!

What sort of % increases did you see in WZ2 please?
