I'm hoping for this week, but you could be right, can definitely see a drop next week due to the AMD 6000 series release.

some people in the discord group have a back order with the competitor selling fe cards as they messed up and took the order but ran out of 3080 founders editions. They have got emails saying they expect new stock on the 23rd. I would be surprised if Nvidia don’t do a drop on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday next week as big navi is out on Wednesday. They did a fairly big drop the day amd announced big navi.
It was the day after. 3070 FE reviews launched the day before, AMD event then the 3070 dropped the following day with a few 3080s and 3090s for good measure. They did it to try and carpet bomb the launch/press cycle but it didn’t really work.
There has been a steady 8 or 9 days between drops so I’m not surprised there isn’t on this week as last week was a Friday.
Big navi was revealed on the 28th of October and Nvidia dropped a load of 3080s at 14:40 on the same day. I know as that’s when I got mine, I believe it was over a 1000 according to a scan live chat posted on discord. It was definitely a large drop as it lasted for 10mins.
