don’t use the speeds inside those benchmarks in top right, they are not correct. Use MSI AB / gpu-s or similar in background that will tell you the correct speeds. My 3090 says same speeds in benchmark but they are not correct at all. While it would be nice to have it 2100 MHz out the box, it most certainly is not.

Thanks - just used GPU-Z. GPU clock topped out at 1980 and the mem clock was running on spec at 1219
No probs. Can be odd seeing those numbers initially. I think going back few generations now with Nvidia boost behaviour, those benchmark in side show a number from the boost table in the background.
Dont forget to use the empty bog roll ear trumpet method[TM] to identify the source of the sound !

I recommended it recently, was it you who shared in the other thread a while back? 
aye it was after someone else recommended it on here.
I told my sons Footy Coach to try it when he said there was a funny noise coming from the computer and he had heard about this coil whine. Turned out it was coming from the PSU not the GPU. He took PSU out, cleaned it of dust as it had never been cleaned put it back then no coil whine.
They put any codes you will get on the receipt which are then autogenerated via email. It's really obvious.
You get it as soon as order is picked. So you aren't getting any.
I also didn't see any advertised on the FE page.
Here are a couple of my orders over the last couple of weeks.
@muon looks like us lucky new 3080 owners got the COD code and the geforce now code after all - i got mine earlier like everyone else

Got my FE today and my COD codes just after 17:00. It's still in its box though, Mrs Sk8 has had me hanging doors all day! Might not get to it until Thursday, something about now I've hung all the doors I also have to paint them....

Heh, I did the opposite on the weekend, she got all the attention. As for the 3080, I only just got it installed over the weekend. But today managed to actually run some benches and try out some demos
Congrats. What did they say about not getting it automatically?
I raised a ticket and the email said they were aware of the issue and should be sending the codes out shortly. I guess they had a fair few tickets about it.
I suspect they simply forgot to apply the offer to this SKU, mistakes happen but all sorted now. It's been a bit mad recently for retailers so I do have some sympathy.
And that is just the start... good luck.

Try a 1:1 and if that's a little loud for you just turn it down a bit.

Tested the 3070 out on horizon zero dawn last night. Mostly ultra settings at 1440 ultrawide and 60fps. Happy with that
