Why? It's probably not 384 bit bus.
The RTX 3080 Ti is expected to be a 3090 with lower memory. Thats it.

Depends what she wants, if shes not overly fussed then 3080 it is.Why? It's probably not 384 bit bus.
No
The 3080/70 is a better proposition at their respective price points IMO.
sure you might get the XT going as fast in rasterisation but it’s missing a whack ton of features and is dog slow in RT. If both were in stock and available, I’d say the 6800 and XT were too expensive, not by a whole lot but enough to push me to an nvidia card.
AIB pricing is an utter minefield and I’m not going to touch that.
It depends what NV have in the bag for this gen. A Titan must surely be due at some point and then maybe a gaming biased Ti will be based off of that, and a refreshed 3090 maybe too.The RTX 3080 Ti is expected to be a 3090 with lower memory. Thats it.
FE is the one to have. Great GPU especially at <4k. I hoped for a bit more from RT this gen but at 1440P I'm finding it awesome so far with RT.agree that the FE cards at £649 are a better proposition than the AMD cards but once you get to the AIB cards then the water gets a bit murkier. I am glad i got my FE3080
What in particular are you finding awesome if you don’t mind me asking?FE is the one to have. Great GPU especially at <4k. I hoped for a bit more from RT this gen but at 1440P I'm finding it awesome so far with RT.
Ok? You can buy a waterblock for AMD cards too... This is a mute point.agree that the FE cards at £649 are a better proposition than the AMD cards but once you get to the AIB cards then the water gets a bit murkier. I am glad i got my FE3080
Build quality, no trashy gamer lights. What in particular are you finding awesome if you don’t mind me asking?![]()
I was talking about RT though. He said specifically he is finding it awesome.Build quality, no trashy gamer lights.

Yeah, I will try this at some point. Just needs to drop to about a tenner.I haven't used it much, but in Metro Exodus at 4k with RTX and DLSS it looks pretty special.
I didn't just mean RT, as I also said I hoped for more but in the games with RT I've tried it's handling everything so far with ease at 1440P so overall an 'awesome' GPUWhat in particular are you finding awesome if you don’t mind me asking?![]()
Does anyone know if Nvidia plans to restock the FE cards sometime soon? Prices for the other 3070 models is significantly higher, and I wanted to "downgrade" to a compact card that still is decent for 1440p. It's a huge shame both Nvidia and AMD are unable to meet demand, especially as it's nearing Christmas.
they usually restock once a week. Have you looked on MM?

I think someone mentioned the the company they're being shipped from sold too many last batch (3080's) are expecting to ship theirs on Monday. So, I'd start looking tomorrow and especially Monday - Monday is probably the day of new stock arriving.Does anyone know if Nvidia plans to restock the FE cards sometime soon?
