30xx Series Founders Edition

I am REALLY close to pulling the trigger on a 3070 on ebay, it's not massively overpriced but I am just not sure it's even worth the upgrade from my 2080, feel I am just been swayed by temptation and impatience.

Interesting, what RT games have you tried so far? I think I'm gonna try for a 3080 FE myself, obviously might be a wait.
Control, Ghostrunner, Quake II and Observer: System Redux. The there was a bunch of the tech demos.

If Bright Memory: Infinite looks anything like it's benchmark, that looks impressive. Same goes with Atomic Heart, looks very good.

Jaysus, gets to the isle tomorrow, and then leave it untouched until Monday or Tuesday.

Yeah, sometimes the 'weekend' excuse like the Banks and their Bank Holidays makes an appearance in the week where a ghost day is lost. Would waste a wish if I could get these retailers to add an alternative courier on the cart.

Apologies if this is a question already answered, but the forum search revealed nothing.

I understand that there is general unavailability at the moment for all cards (given that I am sat in a queue for a CPU too, I guess I could have just said everything); but have Nvidia said if the Founders Edition is on a time limited production run? As in, if I were to wait for 6 months for supply to settle, will there still be new FE versions of the cards available to buy? Whilst I get that AIB versions will likely outperform the FE, the aesthetic has left me lusting after one. But I don't want to pay a scalper. Essentially, have I missed my chance to snag a 3080 FE at MSRP?

As far as I am aware nvidia will keep making FE throughout lifecycle of the card. You can find who sells FE cards in the UK through official Nvidia website.

Hey everyone, now that the AMD dust has settled (and I missed a 6800, had it in the basket but didn't realise you had to check out immediately) I realise a 3070FE at RRP is much better for me anyway. Are there any headsups when Nvidia is going to release a new batch? Anything I should sign up to/listen in on?

Likely going to sell my founders edition for this.

Actually might be worth it.

3090 FE + WB = £1599/£1699 400W, KP + AIO = £1999 with 3X bios, voltage control, better warranty.

Customer service representatives with braincells who understand the concept of changing thermal paste on a card and not blocking warranty for doing so.

@sedy25 - I wouldn't hold your breath on stock of that card actually arriving in the UK anytime soon.
My 3090 FE should last until it does, used to have the 2080 Ti KP, do miss the ability to have more control over the card.

My FE only clocks at 1950MHz in-game(with a +160MHz core) sometimes as low as 1875MHz in raytracing games, KP should hold much higher resulting in better fps, and for an extra £600 might be worth it.

Have your tried undervolting? Might hit and maintain higher clocks.

Yeah doesnt do much, this FE card dumps an absolutely massive amount of hot air into the case, genuinely concerned about my ram.
Set it to 0.806v and fans won’t even need to spin up, at least that is how it works on mine and that maintains stock performance. Power usage drops by 60-70w.
