360 controller on pc?

Doesnt it annoy you that us pc gamers are being kinda made to get these xbox gamepads, its just another way for dev's to port there consoles game easier.

Not really, Certain games are best played on a gamepad. Driving, GTA style games. Where fps and such like are so much better on mouse and keyboard. Use best device for type of game.

I got a new wired one last week and am running Win7 64. The package said don't plug it in until you install the driver off the disc.

Well I ignored that and plugged it in. Win7 told me what it was and had it installed in about a second!

So basically, I have no idea why yours is not working.

Mines being working fine too just by plugging into w7 64 bit though only had one issue so far and that was San Adreas not letting the trigger buttons work.

weird, it was plug and play for me (wired controller) using Win7 Ultimate 64bit

works fine for me

it was plug in and windows 7 found the driver and also a MS download in auto updates and away I went playing grid
