360 has packed in.

Ok its been arranged with my mate, he got his 360 in May from gamestation, so i will use his receipt.

Im gonna print out the link above to take with me if they give me any jip - its late though so whats the "jist" of what the link is saying, from what i read...

Basically its the retailler who i have the contract with for upto 6 years so if the product is faulty i have the right to claim a replacement or repair from them?

Thats right mate. But in the first year they should give you a replacement anyway.

Got a new one today no problems - let me keep the HDD too - though i did back everything up in the morning on a mem card anyway.

That's way to do it. Only reason I bought a mem card. Shame though as I have used all the space up on it now so I have to move over the game saves which are no longer important over to the HDD. Ah well a 256Mb card is coming out. Major Nelson already has one.

Thats the foolish mistake i made not checking and i had absolute hell took ages before i got replacement.

Yeah, borrowing a friends PSU tomorrow night. If I find thats not the problem I'll have to take it back to argos, which I will probably do anyway.

Update: Borrowed my mates PSU yesterday and the 360 worked perfectly. Recieved my new one today from MS aswell, so all is good.
