Mine sat in NL for a few days also; Royal Mail will wake up at some point and last mile it to you.The CPU has been sat in the Netherlands since Friday. Hopefully it will be dispatched to the UK soon.
My wife is using a 3600 and I have a 5800X3D and we both have 6800 XTs at 1440p. In most games I doubt we'd notice much difference, only really CPU bound games would be noticeable.3600 to a 5600 is pointless at 4k as gaming at that resolution in mainly GPU bound. The 5700x3d should give you better minimumsfps at 4k
Is Zen 3 Worth It for Gaming? Ryzen 5600X vs. 3600 vs. Core i5-10400F
In order to wrap up our 6 core/12 thread CPU testing, we had to add the Ryzen 5 5600X to the mix. We're going back to the...www.techspot.com
I also have that cooler on a 5700X3D, and it thermal throttled under Cinebench. Its good enough for gaming, reaching about 76c ish though, so i just kept it.Update: So the 5700x3d was installed today using a Thermalright Assassin King 120 SE, temps are very good under load, are around 65c but i haven't tested fully yet. My 7900 Gre XFX sounds like a jet engine when playing games, i will have to have a mess around with the fan curve. I haven't done a PC install for a fair few years and it took me a lot longer than the past, i was extremely rusty, the case is a Aerocool Interstellar ARGB getting the front panel cables in the correct order took ages for some reason. The GPU only just fit buy around 1 inch super close to not getting in case, i did research before buying, i did think at one time it would not fit. Ive also had to buy a PCIE card to add USB C to the front panel. Thanks to all who posted in the thread for help and suggestions
Haven't tried cinebench tbhI also have that cooler on a 5700X3D, and it thermal throttled under Cinebench. Its good enough for gaming, reaching about 76c ish though, so i just kept it.
It's fine, you don't really need too. A 5700x3d being a gaming chip, we'll never get to Cinebench sort of loads.Haven't tried cinebench tbh
Are there any import costs to pay when you import the CPUs ?
