3930k COOLING LOOP

Nice m8 can't wait to see pictures. All I need to do is cable tie mine up then it's ready to turn on. There's so many been working long hours this week so it's just been sitting there :( pictures should be up late Friday or Saturday!

Its a right pain fitting the tube scared of not doing it tight enough and vice versa :(

I know it should be easy as i'm only doing the CPU but i can just see fluid
going everywhere as soon as i leek test :D

You've just got to make sure you don't cross thread the compression's. Turn the ring the opposite way a few mm and you will find the thread if that makes sense.

Get them firm hand tight and you shouldn't have any leaks.

I get what you mean, getting them started wasn't a prob,
just tryin to get right tightnest as each time i gave a gentle
pull(stop laughing you perv :D ) i could feel the tube moving.:(

Seem to have managed to get them right(here's hoping)

Appreciate the tips

When you have shed a few layers of fingerprints you know you have done a good job. :D

Really nice setup BTW. How do you find that 810. Still not seen one in the flesh

Thanks, thought long and hard before building it.
Was adamant i was having 3D surround with excellent Fps,went through quite a few sets of cards :D

Fingers shredded quite well now with a couple of red knuckles :)

Find the case awesome to be honest, chose it when i got my GPU's as it was recommended for excellent airflow which it has(top card 65ish) as theres no blocks for them as yet.

Looks great mate. I hear evga are going to sell their own hydro copper blocks moving forward so you can get those hooked up.

If you don't like the black compressions on the copper block try the silver ones, they are quite a warm olor and will reflect the copper nicely.

I heard that also, apparently Swiftech are the firm involved.
Hopefully not for a few months to give me time to recharge the bank account and sweet talk our lass.

I'm at a gaming day Saturday so i'll have a look at some more fittings when i'm there.Evga reps are there also so i might quizz them to see if its true about the blocks.
Althought to be honest i'm reasonably happy with the temps as they are.

Only problem is i think i've got that bug called WATERCOOLING.
Only did it to lower my CPU temps and benching but it looks so dam good i might have to take it further :D

As soon as if/when they make the blocks then thats next.
It looks like the Watercooling bug has bitten, they just look better in the flesh.

Trying my best not to rush but getting impatient to get it up and running, off work tomorrow so hopefully finish it then. :D

How far off is yours?

I've just read through the entire build log (ok - it's not that long)

What a very tasteful build. Nice handiwork and excellent clean lines on the wc loop.

Would love to see those Tri-SLI 680s installed in there....

Thanks for the comments, appreciated :)

Wasn't supposed to be a build log ,just turned into a long thread.
Just finished cable management so proper leak test tomorrow
(how long would you recommend?).
Must admit scared about leak test as never played with water b4 so fingers crossed.

Thought more pictures better than words, once all sorted will post pictures with cards installed
