I remember being excited by these when they first launch, I'd love to give one a try. I might just pick one up one of these days...
The only negative thing I can think of is that it can be a bit uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time and usually leaves a red mark on my forehead for a while after use.

Passive 3D is the only 3D I can tolerate and find enjoyable. Active shutter 3D gave me headaches and eyestrain because of the flickering from the shutter. With passive 3D there is none of that, so I don't get those symptoms. It's one the reasons why I can see why 3D didn't do as well.

I enjoyed a lot of 3D films on my old Samsung Plasma. Avatar was stunning! Kinda sad that my new LG OLED doesn't have it. On the plus side I've gained a couple terrabytes on my server by deleting the 3D films library :D

If you think that people in 3d glasses look silly then presumably you think people in glasses look silly!?

If only I could find that clip with them all in the cinema...
