None at all. I was shocked too :o

I'm a bit paranoid about it's stability but it does seem absolutely fine. Ran 3dmark06 fine...rdhtbl...whatever it's called and I've played hours of FEAR and a bit of WoW on it without problems.

It's the gainward GTS that's currently £250. Someone mentioned something about it having slightly better ram than normal but I'm not sure how true that is.

I have ripped apart my case and stuck fans everywhere though. There's about 7 case fans blowing air all over the place, including a 120 right above the pci-e slot for the graphics card, blowing cold air over that and the northbridge heatsink of my DS3.

Someone may be bringing dry ice to our next lan so maybe i'll try something like that :)

The trouble with CO2 and to a lesser extent N2 is that they are both poor conductors of heat. You can handle dry ice, and you can dip your finger in Li N2 (as long as you pull it out quickly) because it vaporises and insulates your finger. Now if only liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen weren't so explosive...

That said, they are all really cold, so have some overclocking fun (plus cool mist coming out of your PCs)

BTW, don't try the above at home kids ;)

2006: 5939 - Next stop, 6K :D

HIS X1950 pro 256MB

Will get a screenie if I break 6K.

edit - forgot to add

that's at 644 CPU, 1590 MEM, using ATI tray tools. May go for 650/1650 and see if there's any artifacting.

'cos of the cost of the CPU I ramped it down from 3500MHz to 3100 I am scared I would fry it with long-term use at the old voltage. It gets 12500+ at CPU 3500 though. Still performs nice enough for a noob like me. This is a Vista score btw, sorry for cross-posting the image.
