3d Mark 06 scores thread

e6600 at 2.88, horribly slack timings on the ram, 8800gts at 630:500.

Happy with that score so far, there's more headroom in the cpu + gpu too, plus I am yet to start with finding the best ram setup. I'm just working with the cpu at the moment.

Just posted this thread, seems to be quite slow compared to the 71 comparison systems like mine.

Anything I can do to improve this?

5369 number 1 score for an AMD cpu and single X1950pro, 64bit XP helped my score quite a bit

My 8800GTS 320MB RAM Point of View

Core 652Mhz Mem 900mhz(1.8GHz)

Despite not being able to get auto detect on the NTune thing to work properly I decided to manually clock the card, I went to a 652mhz core and 900mhz(1.8Ghz effective) on the memory and then thought that sounded okay for a shot! Now I could have clocked higher but didnt wanna risk anything....so as it stands, at the moment I know it can reach 152mhz more on the core and 200mhz more on the mem, not bad so far.

Very nice, that's only about 200points off of the individual graphics scores of my card at similar clocks.
Seems the lack of RAM (comparatively) seems to make little effect.

Nah cos I got it due to the NDA being broken and saturday delivery, ironically however the place I got mines from is no longer selling them until 2pm today so....

Pink Floyd, people are finding the 320's to be faster in lower res 1280x1024 which is strange but obviously slower when going 1600x1200 >>>
So its a great card if you have a lower res monitor like myself

I thought my CPU was stuggling, done a 3D mark 06 test, and looking at your list of people results, mine isnt "that bad" ?

spec :

A64 3000+ (venice)
DFI Lanparty Ultra-D
HIS Radeon X1950 PRO 256 (pcie)
2Gb RAM

3D Mark 06 Score = 3905
(using 1280x102, no anti-aliasing, optimal filtering, HLSL 3_0)
SM2 score = 1862
HDR/SM3 score = 2107
CPU Score = 708
