8800 GTS , DS3P , E6300 , 2gb Gskill PC6400 all running at stock, 1280 x 1024
Seems too low
Cant you set your desktop to 1280*1024 and then run 3dmark2k6? Since techincally you have already altered the res running at the non-default 1280*768.Nickg said:says i need the professional version to alter the res. i only have free basic

EVGA 8800GTS 320MB
2GB Corsair TwinX PC4000
Asus A8N-E
3DMark06 - 7748
How does that sound?
A bit low compared to other AMD x2's or compared to a core2duo system? From the 2nd sentance it looks like you are criticising the fact that he is using an AMD X2. I think you have missed the point.xtr3eme said:A bit low tbh mate. I think you would need to push that x3800 really hard to improve them scores. Also try overclocking the card...they all seem to be capable of 600core 1800mem.

You cant say a system running at stock "is slow", if that system is running at the same speed as similar systems @ stock.
Maybe u didnt mean it like that, but then u should be more careful what you are saying.

xtr3eme said:Mate you need to overclock the cpu for big gains..should be around 10.5k and higher on a 3.2ghz overclock, which should be very capable on a 6300...but depending on motherboard that is.
