3d Mark 06 scores thread

Managed to get my new pc build up and running. Not pushed the gfx hard yet - so be interesting to see how much more i can get out it when playing around some more.

System:
X2 939 4800+ (o/c 3Ghz)
Gainward 8800GTS 640Mb (o/c 575/1750)
Asus A8N32-Sli Delux
2Gb G.Skill PC3200 ZX @ 3-4-4-8-1T

Just overclock the cpu more mate and you will break the 10k barrier with ease ;)

Only issue i have is that my GPU temp is 82c at load, however I think this is about par.

Unfoprtunately due to the motherboard chipset I can only get 2.49GHz out the CPU and that is with one hard drive failing :P thats the Vista one tho so no matter ;P Il run it with that speed and then clock the card a bit more to try and reach that 10k height!

Memory infact seems to be ok and not a stumbling block, new motherboard after my holiday this year however! :D

That result is not a true apples for apples comparison, as your resolution is set to 1280x800, and not the default 1280x1024.

SM2: 4979
SM3: 4938
CPU: 2918

I'm sure if I was running XP instead of Vista (so I could OC) I would break the 12K mark :D

Getting an E6400 and Gigabyte DS3 next week so will see if i can get anywhere near the fated 10K mark with my oldschool GX2 :p
