3d Mark 06 scores thread

cracked 10K (10186) with the 158.19 drivers despite my cpu being clocked at 337 currently. Best previously was 9871 on a 350FSB!! TDU is also miles faster than before. Great drivers!!

:( Have you been through some posts to see if there are recommended settings for your board? You seem to have a decent board there, surely someone can help you get a decent overclock?

It wasn't lack of help to be honest I just gave up!

Upto 330 FSB was no problem anything above just gave me Orthos errors. With the FSB at 400 x 7 or x 8 it just wouldn't boot.

Just got 7196 with the following setup-

x2 3800
8800GTS OC (158.19 drivers)
2 gig generic ram

Seems a little low to me? the cpu tests killed my score, I got less than 1 fps on both of them, is that right or is there something wrong with my system?

Edit: all of my system is at stock, I've had 2 overclocked computers blow up in the past few years and I don't want to risk it anymore....

YESSSS broke the 10000 barrier on Mark06! got 10021 :D

6300 @ 2.8Ghz
EVGA 8800GTS 320mb Superclock @ 607mhz \ 903 mhz

Quite happy with that, gonna leave it alone in the overclocking department now :p

i'm getting 3dmark 7588

all on my sig is running at stock..... so i assume that my score is about right.... think i might start overclocking soon though... once i get some cooling...

Its totally pointless putting your score without the system spec at least in brief

lol maybe its a game? possible thinking it could be a fun game to guess what system he has?...or not.

9143 3dmark 06

Isn't this a bit low for my spec?

E6300 @ 3.01Ghz
Gainward GTS 640 on 158.19 not clocked
Geil 2GB 6400 RAM
Gigabyte DS3
Win XP

Thought it might get over 10K. Could it be that although I've got the processor over 3Ghz its not good settings?

Mark06 is pretty graphically intensive, so the lower score u have is probably becuase you havent overclocked...Dont forget I have the 8800GTS 320mb that has already been overclocked (or Superclocked) by EVGA and I have also clocked it myself a little. So its most likily to do with the stock settings u have on ** GTS.

My spec / score is in my sig, almost identicle to yours.. yeah my cpu is clocked the same, clock your card up a bit and you should crack 10k no problems

But his graphics card not being clocked makes a huge differance, stock I got 9200ish once clocked to 600 / 900 hit the 10,000 mark.

Just clocked my card to 600/1000 and set my RAM timings properly (not sure if that makes any difference) got 10431 :)

Noticed many have set their RAM timings to 1500+ is that safe? seems quite high over stock.

Well at 3.1ghz on my 6300 my ram timings are at 5-5-5-15.. any lower and my pc doesnt stay on :S

Also if my ram goes above 1000mhz it again fails to stay on, had to reset CMOS before..

my ram is PC5300 btw, if anyone wishes to know, at stock the timings can be 3-3-3-12, but with such an OC i have to stretch a bit

Sorry mate, I meant the graphics cards RAM. Mines 600/1000 but I've seen some at 650+/1500+. Happy with 10.5K but when you get there you always wonder if it will go that little bit further.
