Open RC. Great project. Runs well. 3D printed tires were hardes to print with a flexible filament. Finally got the under extrusion right to give them some squish. Grip is poor compared to bought tires nach.

Personally i would not risk printing something like that with my printer atm, as it would have to be pretty tuff, as it going to get quite a bit stick. But sure someone might be able to help

It's designed to have a pole inserted and obviously that will put strain at the top, I have no experience with filament (or 3D printing for that matter) so no idea how durable it is or if there's a more durable type?

Any recommendations on a beginner (but decent) 3D printer? Would love to print board games, like the 3D Catan boards on Etsy et al, and also might be useful at work for film accessories and spare parts and such (will be buying it through the business anyway).

You may be wanting to spend more but if not creality ender 3 has been good to me and people generally have a good experience with them

I was given a i3 Duplicator Plus at Christmas.

I now have these printers:
i3 Duplicator Plus
Anycubic i3 Mega S
Geeetech MeCreator2

And... One I picked up for free last week as it was broken. Fixed it and it's working now.

It's a Raise3D N2. Massive machine...!
It required:
- 3* TMC 2208 stepper drivers
- cleaning....
- White lithium grease
- £14 screen with built in SD card slot off amazon..

Unfortunately I can't update it from marlin 1.1.1 as the USB connection requires a Baud rate of 230400 and my PC won't let me set it to read that... So just using 1.1.1 and printing via SD.

I've become a little obsessed...
