Wow i think people better start stating how many SPF (seconds Per Frame) they get in the future rather than FPS. The CPU test was just painful to watch.

I already knew the importance of an SM3.0 capable card with the beautifull effects i see in the games i own (with loads more to come).

Very happy to see this new version of Futuremark has SM3.0 benchmarks

4234 with dual 7800GTX 256mb (was running with the wrong profile though so not sure if SLI was on or not

Pentium 840D 2 x 3.2ghz
2ghz ram

SM2.0 Score 1741
HDR/SM3.0 Score 1716
CPU Score 1520
You must have it in single-card mode because I scored 4724 and I've only got one 7800GTX 256MB.

SM2.0 Score 1923
HDR/SM3.0 Score 1891
CPU Score 1797

Also - is it safe to run your RAM at 2GHz? ;)

My specs:
Athlon 64 X2 4200+ @ 2.42GHz, 2GB G.Skill PC4000 @ 220MHz, XFX Geforce 7800GTX 256MB XT Edition (475MHz/1.25GHz), Asus A8N-SLi Premium.

How do I extract 3DMark06 - I got it from Guru 3D and I've downloaded the 7z program as well but it keeps asking for a password??

Yeah, finally a benchmark with SM3.0 so you can see how utterly pointless it is for your card to have it

For an 100 quid gfx card, it runs current SM3.0 games very nicely thanks, no complaints here, but then again, you're the guy who said HDR+AA couldn't be done with the Half life2 engine :D and that there's no difference between IQ in AOE3 between SM2.0 and SM3.0. :D

Raikiri...aka the Micheal Fish in the world of gfx card advise

I did not, i said using SM3.0 HDR + AA cant be done on Nvidia.
And I said, to my eyes there was very little diference is SM3.0 and SM2.0. Which there is andmany people agreed with me.

Notice you havent posted a score yet either.
Yeah, you dont have time to run it yet you have a time to post the importance of SM3.0...riight

Grrr, got to 98% with Guru 3D and it disconnected!
I hope that doesn't happen to me as I'm currently on 93% and I've been downloading it for over 7 hours now at an average speed of just 20 Kb/sec.

I'm also using the Guru 3D download mirror

It wouldn't be so bad if you had used a download manager but they are forbidden (I think)

Update:
The download completed but Firefox froze and when I looked in Windows Task Manager, Firefox was 'not responding' but after around 20 seconds everything was okay and just as well as I had been downloading for nearly 8 hours!

LoL ... it gets my award .. "worst benchmark ever"

For what its worth: (not a lot IMO)
A64-4000 @ 2.6ghz stock X1800XT, 2gb Ram

Score: 3758
SM 2.0 score 1611
SM 3.0/HDR score 1685
CPU score 1003

I was going to try it with AA on .. but its locked out and forcing it on doesn't work.
