4.8ghz on 3770k

your not the only one haha. All I know is I have my memory at 9-10-10-24 1T and that's about it lol.

Is running 46x102 (4692 MHz) better than running 47x100?

I think 47x100 is better lol

8 pack, lets get down to the nitty gritty about ram and making my clock efficient with ram tweaks :o) explain Jedi master lol

For a start sort out your RAM configuration!!

Either 2 x4gb, 4 x 4gb or the same with 8gb dimms. Then we can tune it meaningfully.

I think ill use 2 8GB sticks then and at a later stage ill purchase another 16gb (2x8gb)

can you explain which ram tweaks i need to perform?

Cheers 8 Pack

Tune RAM for performance in this order:

(Click on the Image to give you a bigger version)

The numbers give the priority you should give to tuning that setting and the order you should address it. DDR Voltage 1.65v

Dont try use these settings the image is just telling you how to tune. These are settings for RAM with serious volts and big sub zero temps.

This thread helped me so so much just wanna say thanks for helping and due to everything you wrote about PLL etc i have managed 4700 45x105 stable on my 3570k.Using 1.35V in bios hoping its safe and wont crap out in 4 years!

10 runs @ IBT maximum passed.

What temps are you getting with IBT? My 3770k at 4.7GHz and 1.25v hits high 70 degrees on full load and that's with a custom water loop.
