£400 Gaming Spec

I have had a Hiper and it is still going strong in a friends computer it's over 2 years old now as well.

As I have said above I used to have a desktop same mobo (lower chip set) and ran my E6300 at 3Ghz

That's what everyone says until they blow up.

Hiper Explosive club. There have been loads of other posts about exploding Hipers before that was set up. There have been at least two failures this week!!

Thinking how to save more money. Instead of getting the E7200 2.53Ghz would it be worth getting the E2180 2Ghz and artic cooling freezer 7 pro and over clocking to 2.5-3Ghz saving £22?

If your budget is really tight go for the e2180, btw what ram did you end up buying?

I like the case you have gone for :D. Looks very stylish - i know people say antec 300 but that doesnt have a nice window in it with some lights, well that would certainly persuade me :D

Yes that was something I wanted as you can see from my old rig I do like a window

Very Nice

I was gutted when i went for the hush instead of the alpha but oh well. Shame NZXT dont sell windows. Might have to chuck some perpsex as a window :p

You sure? I read a review that said they do one with a PSU and no window

Don't understand what you're saying sorry - I want a window but the hush doesnt have one :(

look what they said on the NZXT forums in like november last year

"Around time for CES last year, johnny put out word that they were working hard to release a new side-panel for the Hush with a window due to the high demand. i would expect it should be available soon"

CMON WHERE IS IT? LOL

EDIT: well I've sent an email to NZXT querying it.

that looks very nice, did you manage to keep to the £400 budget?

I do not see the need in 6400 if I wont be overclocking? i dont think i'd notice a difference.

Can you link me to the new cards due to come out please?

It's definately worthwhile.

At the very least you'd be able to run the memory at a faster ratio (say 3:4).
