I dunno if they would bother you, they have do to some of the people in the "costa del crime", but if you went far enough, and had served your time, they wouldn't.
If you had it stashed in an anonymous swiss bank account or in the caymans etc, there's not much they can do about it.

On that note did any one see that program the other week "Kidnap Ronnie Biggs"? Basically some ex-soldiers hatched a plan to kidnap him from Rio and take him to the Bahamas (iirc) so that he could be extradited back to Britain. A really cool story, shame he got off on some technicality.

Say are any OcUK members up for a little trip to Brazil? ;)

Jesus i cant see them keeping it soon as they catch first person it will fall apart they better watch their spending or it will fall apart even sooner. :)
 
If they pull it off successfully, then they deserve to get the cash.

No-one nicks £40m without an escape plan, they are probably long gone by now, or will be very soon.

Be nice to see how this pans out.
 
The money will be covered by insurance and what not, and god knows theres enough money in this country to fill the gap. Round of applause from me if they get away with it (unlikely).

Ideally they would've moved to the area to plan the robbery, working under false identites (if working at all?) and making as few a friendships as possible. After the robbery they'd go to a different country where an extradition treaty does not exist with the UK (travel with different passports to the previous identities, lack of extradition just in case they are found out). Providing they're not traced to there they can then try and buy a new identity and move to a more friendly country to enjoy their riches in moderation.
That's what I'd do anyway.

I still go with hteothers. If you can get away with something like this you deserve the £££, and with no one hurt and the insurance no one can really complain lol, appart froma few staff who get a week off.
