Could someone post a pic please with either a 92mm or 120mm fan attached... I would be interested in seeing how much of the heatsink the fan covers.
Thanks

I'll have to look back when I did the benching.Duke, nice just wondering how much difference compared to the single 120mm fan? (temps wise)
Only briefly to take the photoerm, graphics card on the carpet??
Which plastic bits in particular and how much lower will they go?Top tip, remove all the plastic bits, and watch the temps go even lower.

All of it, that way you have more heatsink surface exposed.Which plastic bits in particular and how much lower will they go?
It would be if you left it there and walked around or rubbed it into the carpetah ok then I just always understood it was a big no-no
Mine goes no higher then 80'C with a 120mm fan.
I went and cut of 2 fins, re-tapped a new hole and filled down the ends as i think they are slightly too high for the VRM's as they are. I think a lot of the S1 high temp problems are just poor contact from ad hoc modding.
oops, i havent put the vrm heatsink on, it didnt appear to fit
Anyone elses 4870 whine when put under load? Mine does and it sounds like its frying (the Vrm bit i think)
