I got it to work. but the problem is the fps drop i get in games, it shoots down on intense area's and its ****ing me off now 300 quid for this, when the huts explode at the start of cod 5 drops to 50s is that normal? i have tried the offical 9.3 driver and now i have tried my driver cd all same results.
My score was like 17000 odd is that too low for my card?
I think I got about that when I had an X2.
OC that CPU.
What level of AA are you using & COD5 does hammer the gfx card more than COD4 because they have over done the post processing.
DOF- Depth Of field & the blurring in COD5 is over the top.
For XP users, you can now find it here:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Activision\CoDWaWbeta\players\profiles\player name
For you Vista users:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaWb eta\players\profiles\playername
fine this following line and change the 1 to 0, save and your done.
seta r_dof_enable "0"
The seta r_dof_enable "0" may work from the console, im not sure.
Nah it was on my old Q9450 @ 3.6ghz.
It isnt the card - I can play COD W@W Maxxed Out at 1920x1200 and stay well into the 100 FPS mark - its your CPU mate, overclock it
I have it at 3.6 i cannot get it to 4 ghz not sure how i think im hitting the fsb wall.

I will see bout the DOF.
Try the DOF first then worry about the PSU blowing up.

Yeah, I just had a spin on it and my 260 renders 90fps average. I forget what I got with my X2 but it was probably about 140+.
