And it won't stop there. Cue another price increase within the next year due to "challenging macroeconomic conditions" .I said a while back this would be £30 P/M before you knew it.
Yup, I don't think the death of GP will be far away. A lot of people will cancel their sub with this latest announcement, which could lead to MS responding with another price hike ... or I suspect they may just use it as an excuse to kill the service using "unsupportive" gamers as an alibi for their actions. They're killing GP stone dead, just like they have every other area of their gaming portfolio. They should just get out now, they're the Google graveyard of gaming.

Not convinced what's happening here is comparable to Netflix. GP isn't the market leader for game access, and their "product" can be consumed elsewhere.People say the same thing about Netflix etc.
Microsoft will find a way to entice people to keep paying![]()

Vote with your wallets peeps.
We need to keep encouraging people to buy stuff to own it
£23 a month is mad. I remember doing to conversion thing when it was £70 odd for 3 years.
Also dunno if you guys noticed but call of duty will now only be available on the Ultimate tier; if I'm reading it right future COD games will never be available on any other subscription
I'm not buying from GOG
What's wrong with gog.

That will probably be the only game I buy at launch, happy to wait a year or two and get games for 1/4 of the launch prices especially with the state that many release in these days.Keep forgetting to cancel Game Pass tbh. like Netflix and Prime Video, eventually run out of reasons to keep. That said, with £50-80 games being the norm now, I'm probably buying GTA6 when it comes out in 5 years and that's it
