It's an old bt pole that I've put in. They renewed all the poles recently and the farmer next door got all the hold ones. Apart from the lack of creosote at the top, its solid.

Just a quick report for those interested.

Its been what 2 1/2 months now? So far, not a single outage, even on VM's part

. As someone mentioned in this thread "they just work". We've had some pretty strong winds, as I'm sure a lot of you know, heavy rain, dense fog, not a single blip. 200mbit 100mile server 14ms.

That's all basically. Short and sweet.
