I wonder why I haven't got mine yet. After all I was said that my card is in the next batch, which was this one. What is going on with the queue? Did someone get ahead of me or what?

just remember, VAT is going back up to 17% in 5-6 weeks time, so you want to hope your cards turn up by then, as the buggers are already £340+ for the 5870's, and £240+ for the 50's, and i can't see it, as theres people been waiting 5-6 weeks already with no sign of em.

Hi Fatboy, any info on the Saphire 5850'S?. I ordered one last week, iirc the guy in the shop said they were due yesterday [last wednesday] (3483516). Cheers for the updates dude, top service.

I don't think I can remember a single time when a cards been released when they've been completely out of stock a month later, stock usually improves, not get worse or this case none.
The Radeon X800 line was hard to get when that came out back in 2004.

It's a little akward to call from work so I just sent them a webnote, hopefully they'll say it's Ok and provide an update on the arrival of this stock.

Vat wont be going up to 17.5% either more like 18 to 20%
Well, it's Monday, and the store is still showing "Pre-Order" for every single make of 58xx.

The 5970 is released on Wednesday, are you waiting for them to come in as well ?
AMD are pretty stuck for the next few weeks stock wise on anything starting with a 5***. However we are getting very small quantity on allocation from all the AIB's and we are shipping some orders. As for the new launch product and the dates it will be a hard launch on the 18th that is all I am able to say under the terms of the NDA I am afraid.
