i think everyone will get there 5850's on tuseday (im hoping), i think people who order late on monday onwards will have to wait for the new batch to come in, probably along with the other brands.

im hoping i can use some volt mods with the sapphire card like you can with the asus/msi 5870's
 
Fatboy if I order a Sapphire 5850 now what are the chances I will get one in the 1st batch? If not when are the 2nd batch due?

Hi Fatboy i ordered this on Friday morning am i in for first batch can you check please for Sapphire card it just says in Warehouse Queue.

Thanks for checking you rushed off your feet keeping an eye on this thread but that's what makes overclockers the premier place for me.
 
I agree, been here since overclockers started and my experience of recent customer service has been the best I've ever received, from anywhere.

Just hope the unappreciative don't start crying blue murder again if the cards don't show on Monday, I just appreciate being kept in the loop as best as possible.

well if tuseday is going to be like what today has been for me im not holding my breath for "next day delivery"

i ordered a motherboard + ddr3 ram on wednesday, the item was shipped yesterday by dpd next day delivery, tracking number confirmed it left the depot yesterday, ive waited in all day today and nothing!

so not only have i had to wait a fortnight for my 5850, i cant even build up the 90% of the pc this weekend and just slot in the card on tuesday.

i sincerely hope this dpd next day delivery on monday will result in the card getting to me on tuesday, because as forementioned, next day delivery has not applied here.

perhaps dpd dont deliver on a saturday (but then people are getting 5870's today)

lets see what happens eh, im trying to remain positive but after waiting in all day today when i could have been out has really narked me today :o

ps, i dont hold you responsible this time fatboy, so you can relax ;)

My time at clockers from a customer service POV was good, the team did the up most to give the customer the best service they can, most of the team stop well over working hours to get the job done.

Nice to see updates on the cards and no sticking heads in sand, people prefer to be told how it is to be honest.
 
if you look through the thread fatboy said there are around 20 spare sapphire 5850's, powercolor have gone. obviously the number of sapphires will have dropped, i would ring first thing monday morning, check they have spare sapphires and get them to swap it over and im sure you will get them for tuesday.

the delays and everything have been annoying, but fatboy has done us proud under the circumstances, im sure he or overclockers will sort it out for you.

Promised the cards and didn't provide, then gives you the option to spend more money. Yeah top class service that lol.
