Same here. I think Steam as some kind of "attempt limit" that automatically prevents any more after 6 so that people don't sit there all day with a keygen.

what went wrong withthe codes? Error message that there duplicate codes which I assume means taken, and then Invalid codes shortly after.

After you enter 3 or 5 "duplicates" (ie, already used)... anti-spam kicks in and just tells you they're invalid... stupid steam, to prevent keygens trying to activate things, I guess

Hmmm, the first few I got a message saying the code was already in use, now they're just all invalid

Yup.. I reckon it's temp banned you/me from entering codes once you have tried (and failed) a few times.
