£720 lighter ;)

You sure the brush isn't £861?

LOL funny you should that.

Weight it a big issue with WFP and i have just bought two super lite extreme brushes.

They are less than 200grams each, i was using a brush head of 400g. Weight it key in the game!

But they are around £30 a pop, compared to £10

I don't mind using ladders, not scared at all. Even after a fall.

But a decent traditional guy will earn £30-£40 per hour

WFP user can earn £60 per hour. And still achieve that in the afternoon or in rain :)

why wo window cleaners think its a good idea to watch windows when its raining?

That's what i was thinking. Like washing your car in the rain, you just don't do it. If it rains the next day that's just tough luck can't really blame the window cleaner, but to actually wash windows in the rain. Bit of a mickey take really.

The most expensive thing I have bought for work is a SAN costing a tad over £150,000. Being installed this and next week. Can't wait to see it up and running. :)

Is it just standard RO-DI water with a TDS reading of 0?

I have a reverse osmosis unit for my fish tank. If it'll clean the windows better i'll use that instead of window cleaner.

Im a painter and decorator by trade. We do still use ladders quite a lot, sometimes well have someone footing it, (not very often though). Boss doesnt want to pay someone to stand about. Health and safety rules seem to go out the window if they interfere with profits.

Always the same until somebody is hurt killed and the boss is fined hundreds of thousands or jailed.

It bugged me at my last place of work when new regs meant there should always be a watchman. Asking our customers for and extra £15 an hour we were laughed off as there were always other companies who hadn;t increased their rates by 50% overnight.

Hell, if the H & S rules were adhered to in this country we would have zero unemployment due to the extra people needed to foot ladders, be watchmen or time putting scaffolding up.

Downside would be inflation would rocket.

Unfortunately the guy i work for can be very pig headed, some of the crazy schemes/plans he concocts for access are unbelievable. Always threatens the sack if you refuse to use them. On one job, he had a pair of wooden steps that had been repaired umpteen times, (not very well repaired either). The safety inspector on site went ballistic, she actually took a picture of them to use in her safety briefings, just to show what isnt allowed.

Sweet FA to do with any business transaction
Although I am about the same amount lighter as the OP..

Most expensive thing I've bought for work is, as the OP mentioned, a Snap-On tool chest.

£2500

Do you get binoculars with those WFPs so you check you haven't missed a bit?

Nah pure water is really good at cleaning. After 3 cleans. Your windows will stay cleaner longer! It's 99% perfect. I would leave more smears if I was trad :)

Yes mate that's all it is. If TDS is ZERO

do you convert tap water to pure water?

how much water do you use a day?

it strikes me wfp uses a lot more water then the traditional method.

Trad uses maybe 10L a day. I use 400L a day. But if it rains for 5 mins I catch a lot of water at home. Then that is filtered. So I don't use a lot of tap water at all tbh.
