So why is Mantle making DX11 look silly when it comes to smoothness and improvements in minimum fps.
I get bad Gpu usage in BF4 in SLI with a pair of 780's and a 3960X at 4.8
Cards dropping to 60% at times.
Happens in DX with 290 cards in crossfire as well sometimes Geeman at 1080P, even with my i7 at 5ghz. Not an issue at 1440P so much on DX.
On Mantle you find its pegged at 100% solid usage on each gpu constantly regardless of resolution used and even with my cpu at 4ghz. I'm hopeful that we'll be saying the same about DX12 in 1-2 years time.
