I had exactly the same problem with the 8.4s. If you got to CCC, under the DTV options, go to 'Scaling Options'. By the sounds of it, the marker will be at the halfway mark so u need to move it all the way to the right.

/Edit also on another note, do these drivers include the hotfix for 3DMark, as i downloaded them but never got round to installing them.

hmmm what can i say??

In 3dmark vantage im down to 9xxx score, i have 14xxx normally lol. on the first test im now getting 20fps when i would normally be getting around the 40-50 mark, so i disabled crossfire and it made no difference.

Im running 3870x2's x2 btw. So not sure these are the best drivers for people with 4 gpus :(
 
Have had these crash twice within around 20 minutes while playing WoW.

Looks like I'm going back to 8.4s. As I've never had to do this before, can anyone explain how? (I feel stupid :))

Edit - Make that 4 now :(

The 8.5s fixed the problem I was having with the video settings in CCC. Not played any games with them yet, and don't anticipate on being able to until Monday.
 
Word of warning, did a fresh install of XP today and downloaded these 8.5's a few days back with the intention of installing them when I reformatted..

Caused me some seriously bad lagg in COD4 MW.. the game would be fine then slow down all of a sudden like thick treacle.. uninstalled and stuck 8.4's one , seems to be fixed ** touch wood **

Cards a X1950 XTX btw..

I just reran on the Crysis very high benchmark settings we had going before (here) and dropped from ~30fps to ~19fps...so something has gone awry. I don't really have time to find out what.
 
I started getting "ati display has recovered from an error" like I did back with my first driver set (I think it was 8.2 or 8.3). I rebooted and the error has not come back :eek:
 
I have a 3870 + 3850 Crossfire and Crysis now runs a lot better under Vista32 with 8.5. I was getting that horrible stuttering due to crossfire and now it almost dissapeared.

Funny thing is, if i run Crysis on DX9 under Vista32, the stuttering appears again. Dx10 runs very good now.
