** 8 PACK BUNDLE: 6700K OC, AIO, ASUS HERO, 16GB 3000MHz & MORE FOR £499.99 (£270 SAVING) **

Hi Guys,

Could someone help me with the overclock on this bundle. I followed everything from the guide. I'm getting great temps at the 4.5 overclock but it locks up my PC after a few minutes of light use at random times.

Everything at stock is fine, i know i need a few more volts but if someone could help me choose by how much and to what section i would be grateful.

i have been playing with the settings tonight. @ 4.4 1.37 vcore its stable. Temps are from around 30-75. When i tried 4.5 @ 1.35 it crashed and temps were 26-60. Dram is 1.35.

Whats my safe temps and vcore?

I Will do this now.

I'm finding this to be a really poor service to be honest. Any time in the past when i bought a OCUK overclocked product it was tried and tested and the Overclock profile was in the bios.

How can OCUK sell a bundle advertised as a 4.5gzh overclocked bundle am i have to play with the settings to get it to work. I also get similar equipment through a competitor and i'm provided with a check sheet stating everything is working.

I will let you know how the memtest checks out.

This is a soft bundle and hence we provide settings only.

Competitors are providing hard bundles which we also do and test everything out. Since its inception we sold 2 of these on average per day every day and have less than 1% back. 4.5ghz is very easy OC on almost 100% of chips.

For 4.5 play with Vcore upto 1.425v should be fine. Also increase VCCSA and IO too.

Thanks 8Pack. I put it to 1.2 on the VCCSA and its stable @ 4.5 ( I think ) and i was also able to drop my vcore to 1.36. My temps ranged from 26-68 so im happy again.

That was the first time realbench completed @ 4.5. I'm going to try and run it @ 1.35 vcore now to see if its stable for peach of mind.

Apologies if my frustration was coming across in the wrong way. :)

Little worried now about getting this when it's back on offer.

What is the state of guarantees/warranty with this bundle in terms of components getting borked due to overclocking? Presumably none if it's the customer that is doing the overclocking?

P.S: It would be very helpful to make it much more obvious on the product page the difference between a soft and hard bundle and that this isn't an overclocked bundle in the sense that most people are aware of such bundles and is instead a bundle + settings to overclock ourselves.

Very slim chance the suggested overclock will bork anything up. It is not that aggressive. and leaves plenty of room to OC further if you desire.

If anything does go wrong 8 pack/and OCuk will do there best to sort it out.

I brought last years x99 bundle and its running 4.4 since with no problems, and 8 pack was very helpful with support after the purchase

we sold hundreds and hundreds of these RMA rate is no different to normal component RMA rate........................

The chance of any problme is very slim!!! Its been thought about and tested a lot. We will support in any case.

I already tested for over a month Kabylake bundles to replace this and other 8Pack Z chipset stuff.

Really you want it cheaper....... It will be the same we already said this..... Many times.....It's a great deal and Kabylake will be full price ofcourse on launch so price performance in my view this is well a winner when compared to comparable Kabylake system.
