** 8 PACK BUNDLE: 6700K OC, AIO, ASUS HERO, 16GB 3000MHz & MORE FOR £499.99 (£270 SAVING) **

Hi there

The bundle is live just with not quite a big discount as it shall be tomorrow.

So tomorrow:
- I shall post a link direct to the bundle, it will show out of stock but ignore that and order anyway, that is just a glitch in the matrix
- No cooler options!
- 8GB kit at £499 and other RAM kit options at extra cost

Intel 600P we are seeing no return issues, they are returned less than Samsung 850 EVO which hardly ever get returned, as we have always come to expect from Intel is that reliability is as always superb.

When you say no cooler options, does that mean the previous bundled "OcUK Techlabs Extreme 240mm Hydro CPU Cooler" is not included or there will be no options to change the cooler?

Thanks

I had reservations on the cooler here, but it's extremely quiet and very good, as long as you have a case that has room for the radiator.

The cooler is absolutely as good as any 240 AIO available. Asetek are the OEM for all the big players in AIO market and are the biggest water cooling supplier to Data centres in the world. I am using these coolers for a lot of day to day testing.

No you cant change tubes etc.

Good work Gibbo on keeping the pricing!!!

Nobody was 'hoping', a lot were expecting. There's a difference. But kudos to you for at least trying to stick to your word. I personally can respect you for that. Zero respect however for Mr 8pack, a glorified keyboard warrior.

LMAO. Sir 8Pack the three time world overclocking champion please!!!

I've just posted on another thread about a system on sale for £2k but this is getting so much interest that I'm thinking it might be a better option to buy this lot instead.

I'm a PC noob, never built one before ....But willing to try.

So what else will I need with this this bundle? I'm assuming a case and gfx card? Anything else

The hardest thing about building this system is the AIO CPU cooler.

It's not intuitive really, and mine came with no instructions. Once you figure it out it makes some kind of sense.

You mention bring a PC noob, so depending on how comfortable you are building a system, it may be a better idea getting a complete system prebuilt, lots of good options available, might be worth giving them a call.

I'll probably get a lot of flak for this, but you had an unhappy customer/potential customer on the forum, who felt insulted - vented in frustration (probably should have picked a better insult tbh!) but then mocked further. I can't be the only one thinking that was a crappy thing to do? Gibbo does a great job at finding a solution but then the professionalism gets dragged down regardless. Real shame tbh.

Yep, I think it might be too much for me to do. I've just been looking into it and don't understand the basics! Not sure who you are referring to in your second paragraph but it didn't make sense to me.

Hey all.

My current rig is:
3570k 'Ivy Bridge' @ 4.2Ghz
Z77MA-G45 (Micro Motherboard)
16GB 1600Mhz RAM
Samsung EVO 250GB SSD
290x Tri-x 4GB

Now I am tempted by the upcoming offer tomorrow.

Checking CPU performance at stock speeds (I realise both mine and the bundle are overclocked) shows the 6700K 23% faster. Will the whole package i.e. Faster ram and the option for an M2 SSD really show me a massive upgrade? I am a gamer. I will need a bigger case too.

Really tempted to buy this at 10am tomorrow!

What are the stock levels going to be like when this goes live :)? Unfortunately i'm back at work so I really want to catch this deal when I can sneak away for 5 minutes.

Thanks

Just take a dump at 10am and remember your phone. ;)

That performance leap will only be apparent in CPU-intensive tasks such as encoding, rendering, editing, etc. The vast majority of games are still much more dependent on a strong GPU, so if I were you I'd be looking at upgrading that 290x first.

I'm contemplating the bundle but have a different spec. I'm currently running a 2500k and 8GB of 1333Mhz ram and I'm really starting to notice that my PC is more sluggish in day-to-day tasks, simple things like having lots of tabs open in chrome while also listening to music and running java-based apps in the background.
