8 PACK MEMORY RANGE GROWING: SAY HELLO TO 8 PACK RIPPED EDITION & 32GB KITS!!!

Setting XMP is not guaranteed, although likely. Lots depend on the IMC of the chip.

I don't know of a single person that has not been able to run 3600Mhz XMP RAM on a Ryzen 3000 system. This is why 3,600Mhz is offered. If it was a lottery whether your silicon could run 1800 FCLK then OcUK would not offer a 3,600Mhz kit and stick to offering 3,200Mhz.

Whether its stable at that is another matter my 3600 XMP isn't. Its stable at 3533mhz or 3633mhz but 3600... nah.

I bought this kit a while back. https://www.overclockers.co.uk/team...4000mhz-dual-channel-kit-black-my-098-tg.html

But the fastest I can get it to run stable is 3533, 16,16,16,16,35. It Wont run on its XMP profile. But whatever, I think it's fast enough.

What are the chaces of getting that 3600 - CL16 32Gb kit to work on XMP out the box on my system then?
The big difference is that you had to manually tune your current ram and with so many variables it's easy to get it wrong or miss something plus Ryzen DRAM Calculator isn't 100% accurate, whereas the new 3600C16 kits you're considering have the XMP profile configured for you, so much better chance of it just working :)

Yes but the only reason I had t manually tune my last RAM was because XMP profile doesn't work. I'm wondering the chances of that happening again? Have this lot of 8 pack been improved since the last ones? Becase I remember a number of threads about 8 pack "it just works" ram ...well.... not working with Ryzen 3000

I know, I only mentioned that as that's what you had to do, it's because Ryzen CPUs generally can't use very high ram speeds thus they have to be manually configured.

I've used 8Pack B-Die ram at 3600 for the 3600x 3700X 3900X and all have worked correctly with XMP :)

Hmmm, I might get the 32GB 3600 kit then and punt my kit on the MM.
I was going to buy more of mine anyway.

Is there not benefit to running 4 sticks on a T-Topology board like mine? I'm sure Buildzoid did a video that talked about that.

I saw that too, apparently 4 sticks runs better on all the X570 boards than previous iterations.

I take it back, aparently retail Taichi boards are Daisy chain.
