@Gibbo did they make the plane?
eh? based on what?So I guess the order will arrive at the end of the month now?
eh? based on what?
I placed my order on 2nd of May and I was hoping my ram will arrive this week.
From the looks of it they might hopefully arrive to OCUK this week then some more time till deliveries to customers are sorted.
I took worse case scenario into account which is, RAM will arrive to OCUK next week then late next week early last week of May to customers.
But this is just me creating scenarios, I know that this is out of control for OCUK. This lockdown is making me impatient.
Whats the XMP voltage of these sticks?
The X570 boards work better with four single rank sticks vs two double rank, though from what I've seen it's negligible as Ryzen doesn't hit the frequencies where it'll make a difference, like towards 4500MHz.
All down to whether the boards are Daisy chain or T-Topology.Without being 100% sure (more like 90%) I will say that Ryzen works best with two of the four slots occupied (hence why the 32Gb kit are two 16Gb modules) and that the 3600MHz CL14 sticks are single rank.
All down to whether the boards are Daisy chain or T-Topology.
My research suggests all X570 boards are daisy chain, so yes, will prefer 2 sticks.
Yeah even the recommended taichi (cough cough) is actually daisy chain, but ES were t-top.All down to whether the boards are Daisy chain or T-Topology.

I definitely get better latency and performance with looser timings.Without being 100% sure (more like 90%) I will say that Ryzen works best with two of the four slots occupied (hence why the 32Gb kit are two 16Gb modules) and that the 3600MHz CL14 sticks are single rank.

I've just upgraded and my settings are currently worse, but benchmarks slightly better.
Sorry, between 2x8 and 4x8What do you mean?
