8 PACK MEMORY RANGE GROWING: SAY HELLO TO 8 PACK RIPPED EDITION & 32GB KITS!!!

The Ripped kits come from their own bin as TeamGroup have to bin stock as in our initial design and request for the Ripped kit Teak basically told me the regular 3200/3600 is not good enough to meet this specification and so they had to source more stock and bin harder otherwise we would have had the RIPPED kits months and months ago but alas it took sometime.

Of course that’s not to say a regular 3200/3600 won’t hit some great overclocked like they do as that’s still very much possible, just saying the RIPPED kits are binned more aggressively and should in theory give the best results.
Maybe this might be a stupid question; but im wondering if there will be a RIPPED version of the 32gb (2x 16gb) 3600 C14 kit later on?

shouldn't cost much when you factor in selling the c16 stuff. i did exactly what your considering btw :)

From a quick bit of reading, it seems like the main performance improvements will come where my CPU is a bottleneck. At the moment with a 1070. My GPU is the bottleneck at 2k, however that will likely change when I get a next gen GPU.

Don't agree with me :D that was my plan too. Figured it would give me more MHz headroom if I go up to Ryzen 4000.

What performance difference did you notice?

sorry :D

i only done it as it was on sale (£99) and i thought it would age a little bit better. really need to tinker with them just not got round to it yet to see what they can really do.

About to buy the 3600mhz cl14 but thinking of only getting 16gb for now. Are these likely to stay in stock for a few months at least? :)
I've done that, had 1 kit for a few months now. Tempted to get another. But hear am4 doesn't like all ram slots full.

@Gibbo I would also like to know if this is coming.

Apparently TeamGroup do have C14 in 2x16GB configuration: TF10D432G3600HC14CDC01
Isnt that the XTREEM ARGB 32gb kit with timings of CL14-15-15-35? I did see that one myself, but could only see a 16gb kit for sale here. The RGB would be a nice extra :)

urgh. The c14 kit has gone up to £128.99 from £119.99 yesterday and about £113 the day before.

Well at least they've taken doing an arguably pointless upgrade off the table for me. I was expecting it to drop a bit more considering other ram prices.
