Just imagine if they werent:Might not be possible to open the door but the last thing people on a plane want to see is some nut trying to open it whilst screaming 'I'm going to kill you all...'
Would she have been able to open that door? I was under the impression it's impossible to do mid flight due to the external pressure? Let's say she had opened, I guess anyone local not tightly buckled would be sucked off, lots of blowing and many ears popped, but for the most part wouldn't a quick reduction in height and then landing been the outcome?
