Just have to see how much we in the good old UK get ripped off by as per usual, i cant see it being much more than £200 though, not if the 640mb is £250, has to be less than that, and they did say its coming in to x1950 XT/7900 territory, and the x1950 XT's are £162 and up.

As i said above competitor pricing is not allowed so id remove that, and thats a stupid price, bet thats just any old price they've put up, plucked that out of thin air i rekon (i hope), as if they are around that, no one is going to buy them.

@vairo, definately better peformance, its a full blown 640mb GTS only with half the Ram, the GTS's are faster than the x1950 XTX's, its the end of the road for the x1950pro/x1950 XT now, just like their big brother the XTX, i can't see anyone wanting an ATi card if this comes out around the £200 mark, whos going to want an old gen Dx9 x1950 XT for around £170, or an old gen x1950pro, when you could get a next gen Dx10 GTS for around £200.

What Vista drivers is that, they aint got them out yet, unlike ATi.

Nvidia may have beaten ATi out the door with the Dx10 cards, but no good if they have no drivers for Vista.

Be ideal for me, 1280x1024, will easily cope, and about £200 for a card that absolutely decimates me x1800, well worth it.

Me seen as i only game at 1280x1024, the 320mb will do me fine at that res, will decimate my x1800 in every way, and for the price will be a bargain (if they are around £200 of course).

Why does everyone say 256mb cards are fine for this res then, the GTS has 320mb, unless its different. :confused:

Is im tempted thats all, not im actually getting a one, x1800 is still doing me fine for now, so i don't really need to ugrade yet.

hm, im not really bothered about Dx10 tbh, be a year at least before i even look at Vista, so ill not be using Dx10 till then, by then the bugs may be ironed out, it'll have better driver support, and run better, also it should have a SP or 2x, i certainly wouldn't get it now (Vista), plus theres no Vista drivers fot the 8 series yet anyway, and they've been on 5 years with them already.

Yes they can now do HDR+AA, and these will decimate the x1800 XT, the GTS's are faster than the x1950 XTX's, the only card thats quicker is the GTX.

For under £200 these are absolutely stonking value, i paid £350 my x1800 XT when they came out, well i only paid about £250 really as i sold my x800 XT PE for about £100, and these destroy them, 2x of these in SLi for less than £400 will be faster than a single GTX, amazing value. :cool:

Yeah lol, i dont really need to upgrade yet as it cuts through everything maxed fine 1280x1024 here, but these are less than £200, and it doesn't help that R600 is a matter of weeks away as well, oh man what to do.

Well the 640mb GTS is the same length as the x1900's/x1950 XT/-X's, so if the pro is the same length as those, then the GTS will be same length, just depends if these 320mb ones are a bit shorter than that due to having less memory chips on them.
