8800GT Stock?

Got an email this monring saying my BFG OC has shipped. :D

Disappointed I had to buy an overpriced BFG though since it comes without games.

Had a MSI OC (660/1950) on order since launch date for £152 delivered, cancelled that last week when I got an email saying they were now expecting stock on 3rd December  (with hindsight I should have perhaps kept the order :()

Ordered a Zotac instead for £176 delivered but let down again as it was in stock when ordered but got an email on day of dispatch to say no stock due to a "stock descrepancy" with no new expected deilvery date and no idea of when stock coming in

Then ordered a EVGA SCC for £199 (700/2000) with expected stock of 20th November. Yet again no stock came in and new revised delivery is 3rd January 2008

So cancelled that order yesterday and grabbed the BFG from overclockers since they actually had 9 in stock.

Overall not happy but was fed up waiting for a working computer again. Paid over the odds but the only good news was selling my 8800GTS for £161 plus £10 postage so only cost me less than £40 to swap.

If I had got my MSI I would have actually made a tenner in swapping :(

WHAT! I ordered when there were 10+ left and I am still in the warehouse queue!

Starting to wish that I'd have snapped up a BFG OC yesterday when I saw there was stock, and not wait for my OC2...

Man I'm so inpatient... :D

I ordered a OC yesterday at 2.48pm when the web showed 10+, I was still in the warehouse queue at 11am so I rang up only to find out I hadn't bagged one...
They're gonna be like London buses I think.

19th November --
I just talked to OcUK (3.22pm) and they have said the BFG OC2 will hopefully be in on wednesday.

I've had my order in since 8th November, and I'm always getting it within 2 days... only after the day comes and passes then it's some days without an ETA, then within the next 2 days... :(

I'm really hoping the current ETA of 23/11 doesn't change...

Sorry for the moan, but I'm in need of a virtual shoulder!

That's odd cause it showed only 9 when I ordered and at 9.48am this morning they shipped mine out.....or I hope they did!

Unless you were really slow in checking out......?

Same for me, my new system is waiting for just the BFG OC2 and I'm getting a bit annoyed with the constantly shifting ETA. I'm sure its not OcUK's fault but thats not stopping me getting wound up! :) Its a shame that at this price point there are no alternatives.

Just got off the phone from them if you ordered a BFG 8800 OC yesterday or today and you dont have a city link number (confirmed shipping) there is no way you are going to get it this week. They are expecting their next batch on Friday. I am gutted....

was looking at an xfx one on another web site for just 117 + 6 postage, but it is only 1400 speed (all the rest seem to be 1800) does that make any real difference on this level of card?

Uhh... so it seems that yesterday when the BFG shipment came in, and there was surplus stock... there was not even one measly OC2 in there?

I haven't as yet heard of anyone who got their OC2 over here...

Boo for BFG for having sent in only the OC versions!

That was my check out time. Maybe you were looking at a cached page, as the BFG OC showed pre order on the website from around 5pm yesterday.IIRC.
