If there's an ETA saying 23/11, it means that all backorders will be fulfilled, plus there'd be a little surplus stock for new orders. Otherwise they wouldn't be putting an ETA if for example they have 200 orders for a card and only 100 are coming in.

Isn't that the reason why some cards have ETA and some haven't?

(I just want to reassure myself that my card will be shipped on Friday... lame I know but I've been even having dreams about getting this card now!)

i think half the problem is they get promised 100 and only receive 50 so there's no gaureentee

I won't find out until tomorrow whether my order is going to be shipped, but they did say that if the quantity that they had been promised arrived, then I would have it Fri.
Time is just going soooo slow...

If you want choice, I would wait a few weeks as the stock situation is getting better but only slowly.

I got one of those last week. Ordered on Tuesday and got it on Wednesday. Less than £180 delivered too. Just wish i could use the damn thing but i have mobo/memory issues and am waiting on some Ballistix to come.

Are Zotac cards any good? I saw a competitor selling them but hadn't heard of the brand until now.

They're no diff to any other brand but their 2 8800GT cards are pre-overclocked so they don't have a stock speed GT, both are factory ocd which is nice.

The price on these is just a joke. I admit they are worth the £190 or so that they sell for but I find it a bit salty that originally they were going to be around the 150 mark.
I sold my 8800gts a few weeks back and am going to wait until the price falls to what it should be before buying. Did anyone manage to get one for the rrp before all the retailers put the price up?

Oh yeh baby, ordered yesterday, arrived today! And a factory overclocked one to boot! Lucky, because it was the last one they had in stock!!
