Under the new deal, OcUK does the warranty, not XFX. So the customers deals with OcUK, we swap the card out in less than 7 days, but 48hr turn around will be the target.

Seriously, it's really not worth the asking cost for a GTX, I'm sure you can wait a week for the GT's to arrive. many pre-orders should be cleared next week.

ocuk had stock of 8800gt all afternoon. not sure if they still do now though.

And loads more in stock tomorrow which have yet to be sold.

SO buy one of them and forget the GTX.

Hey Greebo I think I read somewhere that your getting a 8800gt soon, I would be interested to know what scores you get in 3dmark 06 at stock because your system looks similar to mine only your cpu is overclocked. I'm thinking of ocing mine but am unsure what settings etc to go for.

No problem. According to citylink my card is sat at home but i'm due at the pub at 8pm so may not have much time tonight.

Yes all at stock speeds, I've just done my first new build with a pci express mobo so I could get the 8800gt and I'm very happy with it compared to my old 7800gs agp but I'm thinking that I might be able to get even more out of it.

I ordered on 6th of november, the Crysis edition, when it still said ETA 16 / 11
Then they moved it back to 23 / 11 (tomorrow)
I sent em a webnote, and they said stock would arrive on 23 / 11 and they would dispatch as soon as possible
Now the ETA says 30 / 11...

Does this mean that we may still get ours in a couple of days? hat the 30 / 11 is for people who haven't preordered one and they have already allocated all the preorder stock?
I hope so

Guess I'd have to wait for a reply. I'd so much prefer the Zotac due to higher clocks... But if the Zotacs are all allotted now I'd stay the way I am and wait for my BFG OC2 next week... hopefully.

Either that, or he's busy checking on the next stock of Evga SC and whether all the Zotac's arriving tomorrow are allotted...

After all, I 'got' my BFG at the old price... it's worth giving mine up for the Zotac so that you sell the one allotted to me at the new price?
