8800GT Stock?

Now the OC2's supposedly arriving today are marked as 'overdue'. :mad:

I hope that doesn't mean the ETA is changing again...

After all, they had been at Stanstead airport last Thursday or Friday...

This was what Gibbo posted on the 23rd...

There is still hope!!

Just got off the phone to OC and they are still expecting the BFG cards in for sometime this afternoon, the guy I spoke to was not aware of any issues affecting delivery and was confident that they would be in today.
I only asked about the BFG cards so this DOES NOT apply to any other manufacturer...
 
I think you'll find that the stock indicator automatically switches to Overdue when the ETA date is reached. I don't think it's manually set to that. It probably switched to Overdue as soon as the date hit the 26th, i.e. midnight last night. Then again, the webshop software could have an "hours of business" setting (of 9am say) and it automatically updates then.

Nonetheless, all stock that had ETA dates in last week went to overdue before stock levels were showing on the webpages and they still arrived as indicated by Gibbo. No need to panic me thinks. ;)

Just off the phone, there was no update on the Zotac cards (guy didn't seem to know much about it so would not read much into that). He did say that they had *39* pre-orders so I would suggest anyone wanting one should order ASAP as I believe there were supposed to be 40 coming in.

I also had my original order for a BFG OC2 cancelled (from 12th Nov!) so there is one less in the pre-order queue there.

I find that hard to believe, unless people have been cancelling, as I remember reading Gibbo saying that all pre-orders had been taken, and that was before I placed mine...

I can only hope you're right, however. :)
 
Damn this is hard work, I need to place an order before 11am on that 24" DGM monitor and was hopeing i could get an 8800GT at the same time :(

Anyone know when the stock situation will be updated?

I did find another place with XFX stock but i want to order from here

I can't vouch for sure (you'd better call OcUK) but there's supposed to be spare BFG OC2's left over... unless like 80 cards were ordered over the weekend... And these OC2's are coming in this afternoon...

I cancelled mine over the weekend as I got a card from elsewhere in the end
 
HI there

Leadtek in stock in good numbers!

BFG OC and OC2 are en-route now in the UPS wagon, ETA at OcUK is midday.

Possibly more Asus today/tomorrow as well.

Zotac is overdue, but the stock is all pre-sold and will hopefully arrive today and ship the pre-orders.

PNY is overdue and missing in action, hopefully it will turn up today.

POV, OcUK and Gainward due in good numbers later this week.

EVGA got some communication from them today saying stock is shipping but they can't confirm what is shipping and they said NO Crysis which makes me very dissapointed with them and this performance has seriously jeapardised the OcUK relationship with them because all they have done is upset our customers.
