8800GT Stock?

lame lol, its too late to ring them now. do you think i should order the card now and then ring them tomorrow morning? oh and is the evga step up program good? because if so i think i will wait, but if its just a load of bother maybe it isnt worth the wait
 
Looks like my gts will be selling tonight still no stock omg I'll have to go without a pc for days maybe even over a week ! ah well will do me some good.
No idea why everywhere had 19/11 down as the restock dates it clearly isn't then ?
 
i want step up as i think that will be handy

its also complicated for me as i sold my 8800 OC2 GTS on ebay but i got done for. to cut a very long story short i had my boss order the GT for me on OCUK and now hes away for the week so i cant order from another store
 
Well this is one giant bulls up by nvidia they must be kicking themselves and obviously didn't forsee the demand for these.
Possible that they have lost in the region of 50,000 sales ?
Because of this debacle i think i will buy a semi decent second hand card and wait for the GTS as it's looking like december at the earliest for stock to arrive.:rolleyes:

I think by Dec 3rd onwards we should see decent stock flows of the 8800GT and G92.GTS, as this was the intended release date for both these cards.

the 8800GT was only rushed to market a few weeks early to beat AMD's 3850/3870 cards to the market and steal some of their thunder

they sure regret it now :o
 
Regarding the BFG 8800GT OC2, the webnote I submitted was replied to with this
The latest ETA we have for these cards are the middle of this week. As soon as we have a new confirmed date, we will update the website.

And as the kind gentleman says, if you check the website it says the 20th. So that looks good, although the ETA has passed several times before. I'm hopeful to have it before the weekend, that will do me fine.

I'm with you on this one, if I don't have my 8800GT by friday I'll cancel and buy a half decent card then sit tight and wait for the new GTS.
 
ill be ordering it saturday do u think ill have it by the end of the month?

if not im not gunna bother we it and just wait and see what this new GTS is all about

will g92 GTS be deffo out 3rd?
 
i was waiting for 2 GT cards to build my new SLi rig.

phoned today and swapped them out for 2 GTX cards instead because i cant be asked to wait any longer :)

Oh well not my money anyway as im booking it all out threw the company.

shame the new GTXs are on there way but you could sit and wait forever as you all know.

ps the orders shipped :)
