have to agree, i thought Oblivion would gobble graphics card Ram, but its just like playing it maxed out on my x1800 on here, only a helluva lot faster, and with more AA etc... the lesser Ram just isnt making a difference. :)

Im so glad I bought this instead of a new monitor now :D

*edit* F.E.A.R benchy will probably be run later tonyte too!

I am glad to hear that this card should work on my Hiper unit. I dunno about why I seem to be getting different total amp values to yours though. The manual defiantly says 18A and 20A.

See i think it depends on the revision of the Hiper, that cheaper unit on OCUK seems to hold those values but I will double check my PSU when I get home just to make sure ;)

This card looks great for anything below 1600x1200 (1680x1050) with AA/AF and TRSS (Transparency Super Sampling), but the 640MB still has a great pricepoint if you wanna hit 16xAA/AF with TRSS on 1680x1050 and higher with upcoming games.

The sliced in half memory is definitely an issue if you run 1680x1050 with all the bells and whistles it seems from all the reviews now out. More so if you're on a AMD64, despite myself being on 2.8GHz.

Well i was a new monitor or new card so this is pretty ideal for me! Still loving my IIyama Prolite E431S!

Hey jrodga2k5,
just run my PoV 8800GTS 320 with the Mem set to 1003!!!
what kinda speed can you get outta your RAM

Nice the PoV's seem to give nice clocks! I have only ran at 900 so far, 2GHz wil be possible no doubt!

I just wanted to try mines out at GTX speeds sio thats why I went for the 650core and the 900mem i may be tempted to try it harder tho ;)

Well my warranty is extended to 3 years so thats more than enough IMO! Plus i didnt pay £199 for mines :) im happy!

There has been a lot of postive response so far to this card from buyers and potential ones too, I think the oblivion screenies I posted do a good job of convincing :D

I didnt even have super sampling on as that at 16xQ AA makes the game take a hit performance wise, multi-sampling however and it runs great with it on :D

And yes the poster who questions...it is silent ;)

Also I just recorded my temps while playing Battle for Middle Earth 2 RoTWK Exp and the load temp only went to 62degrees  impressive temp indeed!

Warranty sells cards period,

If a manufacturer has a nice 10 yr warranty or lifetime warranty to the buyer this just reninforces the fact that they are buying a quality item.

If they offer a lifetime warranty then they must have faith in the quality of their products.

Just like EVGA would RMA any 680i mobo if the quad FSB limitation could not be fixed with a bios update.

You don't see this with INNO 3D cards.

Its easier to move cards on if they have a nice warranty wether this is transferable or not.

True I guess, in total I think Iv ever Returned 3 Graphics cards and never had to deal with an RMA for any of them!

Inno 3D's for 2 ironically easy ;) 4200Ti after 11months, full refund! 6800GT after 3months! FUll refund! It was after the 6800GT debacle I decided not to buy cards off them again!

My ATi x1800xt 512 was returned and that was Sapphire recently, after 15months and I got a full refund!

So I guess Iv gotten lucky with mines as I have never had to experience a manufacturers RMA service so far!

Added the madshrimps review where they concentrate on 1600x1200 resolution.

In Oblivion they show that the ram can make a difference if AA settings are applied but at 2x and 4x the performance gap isnt too big, 8x above however it is!

Basically this continues to prove the theory of this being the choice of card if you are gaming at anything <<<<<1600x1200! :D
