8Pack approved AMD Ryzen [email protected], 1800X performance smashing bundle :-)

Having some issues, the RAM keeps re-setting from 3200 the options are DOCP 3200 in the bios and in the config, but show as 2133 in the hardware monitor in the bios & CPUz show the slower mem frequency......

Which mem sticks?? Into bios f5 F10 enter to reset. Back into bios. Set docp normal and 1.45V on mems. F10 enter. Go into Windows check mem speed with no oc on cpu and test it.

I reset it and was at 3200 when I left for work, I shut down & came home and now the mem is at stock, the mem sticks are the dark pro 8pack edition.

This is really strange. Issue is failing to train always. Hmmm. Cam u try 2933mhz. Maybe Imc on the Cpu has an issue.

Also try single stick at a time 3200 hci memtest.

Also try 1.45V dram.

Also try soc voltage around 1.125V

Is this on Crosshair hero??

Just a quick update on my build.

ASROCK board, 3000MHz RAM, no cooler.

Installed my air cooler and have decided to have a play.

Managed to overclock the 3000MHz memory to 3200MHz at 1.35v and not touched the timings. Result!

I have also looked at lowish voltage overclocks, currently settled on 3.7GHz @1.225V, I suspect I'll be able to drop the VCore some more, but am pretty happy so far, when stress testing calculating Pie, temps are just under 60Deg C. I suspect anything after 3.7 will be diminishing returns, but will have an experiment when I get a few hours spare.

I had a similar issue with the same RAM and board (C6H - 1501 bios).

I changed the option which resets the RAM back to default settings if it fails to boot at 3200. It was on auto I think, I changed this to 3 and (touch wood) I've had consistent boots for a couple weeks now.

I haven't done anything else apart from setting the DOCP profile on the RAM side of things. I do find it odd that even though I have the DOCP profile enabled, the RAM shows as 1.395v on the BIOS. Seems stable though.

9920 is a beta bios. In qualified bios I prefer 1403 to 1501 I have to say. But for me 1501 was working.

After testing I found the 9920 BIOS is the most stable for memory on my machine and has so far not had any ram setting loses at 3333 c14.

Now testing Stilts 3466 RAM profile built into the BIOS which has been fine so far using 9920.

1501 and 1403 for me kept causing the loss of ram settings at 3333 c14 back down to 2133 default, the machine was completely stable once booted as 3333 c14.

I actually had no issues with docp on any of these bios. Only when trying to oc even higher and tune in timings. 9920 I agree is the best but beta.

All is good in the hood appears stable, re-downloaded and used the 1501 OC profile, one setting was on auto for some reason.
The ram and cpu are reportedly are sucking more juice than they are supposed to though..... will see what it is upto after my shift.

Just got home booted up OC settings are all in place, however their is a mouse cursor freeze upon start up. And certain webpages like amazon & gamespot cause the PC to freeze (mouse cursor arrow key selection after pressing windows key).

This sounds more software than hardware issue. But obviously investigate further. Progress made at least. Really strange this as many others having zero issues.

Hi I have the approved 8pack ryzen 1700 @3.9 Taichi bundle the computer runs at standard ok updated bios and settings from forum if I try to run it at that it wont boot just errors sometimes 03 mostly 78 in the onboard debug window. Asked customer care and they told me to ask here. tek

Hi all
Any chance you could upload new profiles for bios Version 1602.
Hoping loading your profile will fix a problem I'm having as bios is only finding 8gb of ram should be 16gb.
Thanks
