8Packs no BS testing Intel 8700K and Z370 with Delid 5ghz and above available from OCUK.

About to receive my Taichi so I have a few questions...

Which voltage is the one I want to look at under load? CPU-Z or HWINFO Core #x VID? Is voltage droop desired or should I try to get load as close as possible to idle voltage (assuming we still use voltage override and not adaptive on CFL)?

Which settings in Prime did you use for the stress testing?

RealBench actually uses some AVX instructions, right? Just not to a crazy extent like the new Prime versions that turn it into a power virus. Is there a hidden way to turn them off or do you just go with the AVX there when you stress test with RealBench? How much memory should I use to test there if I have 16 GB in my system?

Llc level 1
Cpu Z latest is reading core
Prime v26.6
Yes real as normal 16GB utilisation.

Set avx offset to 2-3

Keep an eye guys but judging it myself I think they will be booked in tomorrow. I stayed late to finish them but warehouse on less staff after 5-30 so booked in tomorrow I think now.... Did my best...

No memory is c14 3600 xmp. My range is 3200 c14 or 3600c16. Both of these kits oc really well 3866-4k very easy c18 or 19.

3600c14 no vendor is doing. My dimms will tune down though with tweaking no issues.

I bought the 5.2Ghz bin, but i can't get it to stabilise at 5.2GHz. It wont even boot at 5.2Gz,1.4v. It does boot however when i lower the freguency by 50MHz but i would get an instant BSOD when i did anything intensive, i.e a benchmark or a stress test. I have set my ram to stock speeds to make sure it wasn't the cause of the issue. Right now I'm running it at 5.0GHz at 1.4v.
That is really strange all those cpu tested twice here. Before and after delid with prime and real bench.

Which board??

Set cache ratio to 44 as some boards do 1:1 cache and core and no cpu can do 5.2 cache. Most cpu can't even hit 5g cache.

Intels default configuration with this Cpu is cache and core oc together. This is by far not the best way to get the best performance from the Cpu but is good for efficiency in reviews.

We test cache stock. Core high which is the best way.

That's the binning board. Should be easy.

So f5 and F10 then enter to reset bios. Reboot back into bios.

Xmp
Avx offset 3
All core ratio 52
Digi power llc level 6, could current cap 140%
Cache ratio min 44
Cache ratio max 44

Core voltage 1.4
Dram voltage 1.4
Vccio 1.1
Vccsa1.1
Cpu standby volts 1.1

Save and exit.. Test.

Guys the CPUs never went on the site because they are all sold from customers who ordered when we was out of stock.

I suggest you simply order the speed you need and I will bin more Monday. Then you get one. I am sorry I did not know we had this many backorders.

I have applied the preset, its stable at 5.2 GHz, somewhat anyways, lots of stuttering but nothing critical.
Stuttering increase io and Sa and mem volts slightly. Usually stuttering mem related. Glade it's working. We double test so pretty much has to work.
